Welcome!

Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

My dear sisters in Islam,

Welcome to our blog! isn't this exciting! :)

I thought this would be a neat way for us to discuss our halaqahs, suggest topics for future halaqahs, recommend books, links, articles, plan events, and much more!

I'd love to hear from you so please go ahead and share your thoughts!

love and duas...

your sister,
Dana

Very creative, I like it. Everyone walks away from the halaqahs with a personal perspective. It would be interesting to see thing's from another's view. Thank you for this.

Asalaamu Al'aikum Warahamatullahi Wabarakatuhu,

This is awesome, but of course you are Dana, and MashAllah anything you come up with is awesome. I'm very excited about sharing our thoughts and feelings as Ferozan mentioned; it's nice to know what everyone’s perspective is on the topics. I love all the topics, but the ones that were personal for me are the topics of repentance and death. Although these were scary topics, the way you explained it left me with an immense amount of hope. I don't know how to thank you enough for coming each week and recharging the battery of our faith. Dana may Allah give you all your hearts content Insha'Allah. I hope you all know I love you girls for the sake of Allah.

JazakhAllahu Khayr

wa alaikum assalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

You girls are so sweet mashaAllah. Jazakum Allah khair for your sweet comments. I am really glad that you are happy with this idea and I hope that we will be able to use this tool for the best inshaAllah.

The talks we had about death and repentance affected me greatly as well. Repentance is something we should do DAILY, and remembering death should be several times a day. The Prophet (pbuh) used to remember death up to 70 times in one day! subhanAllah.

I hope to see you all this Thursday. I love you all for the sake of Allah!

love and duas,
Dana
